My 22 month old son has very watery stools with slime bots which are very stringy and clotty. He has never since birth passed a hard stool but the stools he passes now as if i open a tap in his diaper. Also he has been vommiting the last two nights??? He does not have fever . But he is grumpy and he passes loud noises with his stools.

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that your child is having infection of the gastrointestinal tract and needs medical management.
I would like to advise that you should get your son clinically examined by his Paediatrician.

Also take care of his hydration.

I would also advise that you should give him medicine under medical supervision only.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
