Large Fibroid Non Cancerous Tumour, Enlarged Uterus. Scheduled For Robotic Hysterectomy. Any Possible Complications Later?

I am scheduled to under go robotic hysterectomy next wed due to a large fibroid tumor which biopsy showed to be non cancerous.... I am nervous as the tumor is 15 cm by 11 cm and my uterus is enlarged at 28 cm.I have heard both good and bad about the robotic surgery which I will be having done at brigham and womens hospital.
My concern is the research I have done usually does not qualify me for the robotic surgery and just concerned about complications after.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
During robotic surgery there is three dimensional view in front of surgeon & complication rate is very low.
However complication rate also depends on intraoperative findings like if there will be excessive adhesions inside your abdomen then there will be increased risk of ureter, bowel & bladder injury.
If intra-operative period will remain uneventful then postoperatively also you will recover soon.
I hope your query has been answered.
Regards,
