Large Dent Present Behind Head, Sensitive To Pressure And Touch. Cause Of Concern?
I have and have had for as long as I remember a large dent in the back centre of my head. The area is sensitive to pressure and to the touch. I ve never thought of getting it checked out until other people freaked out when I made them feel it. ... the size of it is about the size of two loonies. Should I actually be Concerned? Or is this actually a common occurance? .
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for calling, H.C.M.
It appears to be due to tuberculous lymphadinitis, lipoma, or bacterial lymphadinitis.
As there is no pain and it is not increasing in size, it may not be a dangerous grouth, but i recommend to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a needle biopsy besides other routine tests for confermation.
If it is growing in size you must immediately consult a surgeon.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery .
Regards.
