Itchy Bumps, Boils On Vagina After Reaching Puberty. Reason And Remedy?

For years now, ever since I ve hit puberty , bumps and boils have been on my vagina and for some time now I started popping them but stopped because my mom said it was bad. I know they re not razor bumps because even when I don t shave they re still there. They itch a lot and I feel unclean. I went to the gynecologist and she didn t say nothing about them and I m a virgin . Can you please help me?

Hello.

I can understand you are concerned.

Keeping in mind your sexual status the possibilities are few. This could be a condition of the hair follicles, whoch can get infected snd inflammed and stay that will for quite sometime, even when the affected region is not shaved.

The other possibility would be to look into any sexually transmitted infections that you might have inherited from your parents. I can understand this is a troubling possibility, but a doctor would have to look into all possibilities, so either talk to your parents about it or undergo an elaborste screening for all sexually transmitted infections.

In the meantime, take several sitz baths with warm water and epsom salts through the day snd apply warm compresses to thr region. Avoid itching or shaving or any other activities that can further irritate the region.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
