Is Yellow Liquid Discharge From Scalp Sign For Sun Poisoning?

hello- i got sunburn on my scalp where my hair parts. all day i have been feeling tired weak and had a horrible stomach ache. now i noticed that my scalp is secreting a yellowish clear liquid constantly where it was burned. can i be suffering from sun poisoning?

Hello,

It appears that you have got secondary infection on scalp due mutpile causes. Sun burn can cause the problem indirectly but not as main cause of oozing of liquid discharge.

I suggest you to wash your scalp properly with mild shampoo. DO nto scratch and or do not try to touch the area repeatedly.

An antibiotic cream with mild steroid helps a lot in treating the area properly. if at all the area is not getting better then you might require oral antibiotics under medical supervision.
