Can Food Poisoning Cause Prostatitis?

I was diagnosed with prostatitis about 2 and a half weeks ago after having some symptoms of it since around November of 2010. I got food poisoning around that time and I think I got the food poisoning before the symptoms of prostatitis started. My question is could food poisoning have caused the prostatitis I have now?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history given here and I would like to say that both prostatitis and food poisoning are two different conditions these are not related with each other, diarrhea may be self limiting may not need any treatment, but o hope this if course prostatitis requires treatment formation helps.
