Hello,

Some of the treatment for prostatitis are Antibiotics. Taking antibiotics is the most commonly prescribed treatment for prostatitis; Alpha blockers.

These medications help relax the bladder neck and the muscle fibers where your prostate joins your bladder.

Anti-inflammatory agents. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) might make you more comfortable.

Therefore I suggest consulting a urologist for physical examination, diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand
