Is Vomiting And Gastric Problem Common In Bowel Cancer?
My brother has recently been diognoised with Barrett s disease, every few days he becomes very loose in the bowel, having had bowel cancer, and lung cancer, he is 69 in June.He has had two blood tranfusions in two months and a iron infusion 10 days ago. Is the vomiting and gastric going to be a ongoing factor. He is taking 4mg of Zofran when feeling off. Would it help if he took them every day. Thank you Kath McKay
Hi and welcome to HCM. Well, gastric and bowel cancer are not related and these are two separated diseases. In his case there is obvious gastritis and due to Barrets disease and other abdominal symptoms may be caused by more or less serious diseases but only way to rule this put for sure is to do colonoscopy. . Wish you good health. Regards
