Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum,
Guttate psoriaisis is the most easily treated condition, but surprisingly he has been having it since long time.Sore throat is commonly associated with it.Don't get panicky ,your friend is not going to die.The only fatal complication of psoriasis is eryhtroderma, which involves whole body, that too if not treated .Take a course of antibiotic ( roxithromycin 150mg twice a day for 7 days),along with topical steroids .Anti allergic's can be given to relieve itching. If this doesn't give any relief then one can also give methotrexate tab after proper blood investigations.Use plenty of moisturizers all over the body.
Take care,
