HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Abnormal periods are one of the common symptoms of thyroid disease. Hypothyroidism can cause delayed or irregular periods.

It is possible that this is the cause if pregnancy is ruled out.

Other possible causes are : (1)emotional stress
(2)physical stress or illness
(3) high levels of a hormone called prolactin
(4)inadequate diet
(5)extreme physical activity
(6)polycystic ovarian syndrome

I hope this helps

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The irregular periods after starting the levothyroxine, may be due to the thyroxine, anemia, or may be due to the infection. Thyroid being harmone it can interfere with the periods.
I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. If there is infection or anemia the doctor will treat the cause.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
