Is Surgery Only Solution For Enlarged Pituitary Gland?

I have the following problem.
1. Irregular menstruation, my cycle lasts up to 3 weeks
2. Very high prolactin level (more twice the normal value)

I have visited ObGyn doctors in Nigeria. They prescribed Bromocriptine to lower my prolactin level
and duphaston and premolout N to regulate my menstrual cycle.

Last week my doctor did a CT scan and told em that my pituitary gland is enlarged. That I might need a surgery to
reduce it in order to lower the prolactin level and correct the menstrual cycle.
