Is Pregnancy Possible Through Protected And Withdrawal Method Of Intercourse?

My period is about two days late. I am concerned that I might be pregnant. However, my fiance and I always use spermicidal condoms plus he pulls out. Also, we avoid having sex while I am ovulating. Are there things that could make my period late other than pregnancy?

Hi,

While using double care for contraception and also avoiding during ovulation. This keeps very less chance of conception. Two days is not the time for testing. Wait till 8 days delay. You may get period till then.If not go for home pregnancy test to completely exclude pregnancy. In negative test the delay is due to hormonal imbalance. Causes range from disturbed psychology, ill-health in the month to organic causes like thyroid or ovary problems. Consult a gynecologist for pin pointing cause and getting specific treatment.
