Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking Clotrimazole Vaginal Suppository?

Hi, I used clotrimazole vaginal tablet 200mg and realized ovulation was close. Does intercourse in a day after usage affect pregnancy? If I am successful with pregnancy, does contact with clotrimazole during intercourse affect any foetal disability?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thank you for asking your question.
First of all, i would like to tell you that clotrimazole is for fungal infection and it has nothing to do with your pregnancy.
I guess you were having white fouly vaginal discharge,so you have been prescribed clotrimazole...
Clotrimazole will have no effect on ovulation,so if you were having unprotected sex during this period, then there are every chances that you might get pregnant and you can cconfirm it with preg test or ultrasound... if you become pregnant, then also clotrimazole will not have any effect on fetal growth..
Do dont worry and be tension free, even if you become pregnant..
Hope this will help you.
