Hello,

You have a ring worm circle on your wrist. Take care of your hygiene. You can apply ointment clotrimazole on the affected area. Taking antifungal, orally will help to get rid of it. Presently, you are also having rash all over the chest, back and are spreading to the thighs. Your symptom can be indicative of allergy or contact dermatitis. You are suggested to take antihistamine, it will help to reduce the symptoms of allergy.

You can apply ointment hydrocortisone locally on the area affected after having a bath or shower to reduce itching. The symptoms should reduce and you should feel better. If not, you should get clinically examined by a dermatologist. The dermatologist may take skin cultures for further study so that you may be treated accordingly.

Take care of your hygiene, do not share your toiletries or clothes with anyone. You will be treated with antibiotics or steroids (if required). PR can be associated with red rashes. If PR is detected, apply calamine lotion for relieve. Corticosteroids will help itching and swelling, take it only after consultation with a dermatologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
