Is One Shot Of DMPA Effective?

Hi. i would like to know if the effects of the DMPA shot are higher for teens between the ages of 16-18 and if all women who use this shot get the side effects of this drug. Also, can you just take one shot instead of all three and will it be just as effective? Please answer and thank you.

First of all DMPA (Depot Medroxyprogesterone Acetate) not recommended in teenage group, if given may cause unwanted menstrual dysfunctions, hope this information helps.
