Hi, I have candida and I m 24 weeks pregnant. My dr initially prescribed me with canesten suppositories, but they kept coming out the next day ( fully intact) so she prescribed me with lomexin 600 - a one time ovule. Is it safe in pregnancy? If so, how will I know how far to insert it?
hi lomexin is fenticonazole nitrate which is not recommended for use in pregnancy as safety in pregnancy is not well established.you should use canesten suppositories only for 6 nights .you should put it after urinating and before going to bed with your index finger and just reposit it in your vagina ,you need not go too deep and keep lying down after that.all the best take care.
