Is Light Bleeding Normal After Discontinuing Norethisterone?
i stopped taking norethisterone 5 days ago, 3 days after i stopped it my period came, but it is very very light, it was more like normal mucusy discharge for the first day but it was pink, its now turned brownish, as it is sooo light there is no need for pads at all, and i do not have any of my normal pms symptoms. Is this normal after coming off this drug? i have taken this before but my period was normal even slighly heavier than normal.

Withdrawal bleed usually is heavier or normal in quantity but can be scanty when there is insufficient endometrial preparation. It may take longer for normal flow to ensue. Please wait for a couple of days and then see a gynecologist for evaluation.
