Hi, I have been trying to conceive for more than a year with no luck.. I have irregular periods. It comes in 35th day and sometimes 40 days and rarely in 50 days..This time it has been 47 days.. I have joined a gym before 15 days ..Iam confused whether im pregnant or it is due to my workout which i started recently.. I feel its too early to take a pregnancy test..Should i continue to go to the gym...Incase if im pregnant will it affect me in anyway??
Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if doubtful about pregnancy then heavy workouts are not advisable till confirmation .Consider doing a urine pregnancy test a week after missed expected period.The causes of irregular cycles are PCOD,thyroid abnormalities,overweight ,stress .So avoid stress and weight reduction if overweight or obese .Weight reduction itself helps in regularisation of cycles.And get evaluated for thyroid abnormalities and PCOD.
