Is It Safe To Take Flax Seed Meal Or Capsules With Lipitor?

Hi, my Dad (in his 70 s) has Diabetes. He is on Lipitor because of a blocked main artery in his neck. He s experiencing dry eye because of his Diabetes. Is it safe to take flaxseed Meal or capsules with Lipitor? I was told to take flaxseed oil for my dry eyes symtoms due to laser surgery. I was wondering if flaxseed can help my Dad. Also is it safe for men to take flaxseed?

Dear sir i can understand your concern.
in my opinion, flaxseed are good nutritional supplement it helps in controlling of diabetes and cholesterol
it is safe to take flax seed with lipitor.
i am not sure weather flax seed will help in relieving dry eyes are not
but i suggest you to use artificial tears.
brand names are Refresh or tear plus
