Is It Safe To Get Pregnant While Having TSH Of 0.02?

Hi, I m on a low dose of synthroid, o.25 mg. I feel great, I m planning get pregnant with my second baby so I went fora routine blood test, my doctor called my TSH is 0.02. I don t really have any symptoms, I m even gaining a bit of weight. Is it safe to get pregnant?

Normally, while planning a pregnancy, it is recommended that your TSH levels should be less than 2.5.
This is an ideal range.
So your TSH is well in the normal range.
Do not worry.
Yes, you can safely attempt to get pregnant.
Do not taper off or stop the medication.
If you get pregnant, the requirement for thyroid medication will only increase.
Right now , you are quite fit for pregnancy.
Please take daily folic acid supplementation though.
Also, get TSH checked every 4 - 6 weeks.
Get your TPO antibodies level checked.
