Is It Safe To Drink Alcohol While Taking Arithromycin?
currently i had sore throat and cold . so my doctor gave me azithromycin and asked me to consume it for at least 3 days to be effective. well tomorrow evening there is an unavoidable party( batch reunion) cant help but have to drink alcohol. is it safe??
Azithromycin does not have direct interactions with alcohol. This means that most people could have a moderate amount of alcohol while taking the drug without any serious problems.
In some persons, the adverse effects like dizziness, nausea and vomiting may be increased with alcohol use. Kindly restrict your alcohol use to moderate amounts and avoid driving while under the influence.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
