Is It Safe To Consume Beer Along With Oxycodone?
Hi, I recently had my wisdom teeth taken out and i was perscibed 7.5/325mg Oxycodone/APAP. I have been hurting really bad particuarly in the evenings. I usally drink a beer or two once i get home. I had no clue how dangerous this is apparently. Anyways i just realized it. Tonight ive had two beers and one pill. What should i do right now? Should i go to bed? Is that safe. I Feel very light headed.

Oxycodone is a drug in the opioid family that is required for pain relief. On the other hand, beer is an alcoholic beverage. But, combining Oxycodone with alcohol like beer can cause dangerous consequences. Both chemicals can make someone drowsy, light headed, respiratory distress, slow heart rate and low blood pressure, impair judgment and many more. Even drinking small amount of alcohol while taking Oxycodone, can be harmful. You should consult your doctor immediately for medical help. You should not drink beer while taking Oxycodone in the near future.
