I was diagnosed with hyperthyroid and afib a few years ago. The diagnoses were at the same time. I am no longer on thyroid medication but still have afib. I notice on occasion I have hyperthyroid symptoms and then shortly afterwards have an afib attack. Is it possible to have spikes in thyroid levels?
Hello Thank you for contacting health care magic It would advisable to you get a thyroid function done in order to rule out thyroid function defect. But the way you are describing it, I think symptoms are due atrial fibrillation I think it is advisable to meet your endocrinologist for the above symtom Have a good day bye
