Hi I am 28 years old. 8 weeks pregnant now, have hypothyroidism and PCO...doctor has given my Progynova tablet. Can I eat them ? When I checked the side effects for this tablets it says that it should not be used during pregnancy.....wat should i do now ?
Progynova with the active ingredient estradiol is a synthetic form of the estradiol that the ovaries produce from estrogen. I would not say this is harmful when used therapeutically during pregnancy, so please do as your doctor advises.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
