Dear Madam,

This is not normal and needs close observation. The possibilities are:
1. The baby is getting severely affected and suffocated.
2. You are not marking the movements of the baby.

Please report to the Obstetrician ASAP. Some investigations for evaluation of the foetal well being are called form. Manning's score (ultrasonography with non-stress test for baby) is a good indicator to decide whether the baby is safe inside the uterus or outside the uterus. If baby is in danger inside the uterus due to inappropriate placental supply, emergency delivery will have to be instituted by caesarean section.

Also keep a daily foetal movement count. If within 12 hours, the foetal movement count is less than 10, it is serious.

Please do not waste time and rush to the Maternity Hospital.
