Is It Advisable To Remove My Gall Bladder Due To Small Problems?
I m 24 years old. I m have an appointment with a docter today about my gallbladder. Should a gallbladder be taken out? After only a few tests confirming that it is my gallbladder giving me little problems. And after reading about so many people that gallbladders have been removed and having a hard time coping with their lives now, I dont know what to do? Please help me!
* In my routine surgical experience, I always recommend any type of treatment as per the co-relation with symptoms and reports only.
* In general if symptoms are mild and well controlled with medical treatment, surgery can be a second option to the conservative management plan.
* If the symptoms are severe, indicate a possible threat of other damage to structures or physiologic functions, surgery may be a priority over the medical management.
If you provide your symptoms in details, a better plan layout may be possible ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
