Is Hysterectomy A Safe Procedure?
im scared to death of so many things...ive had severe bleeding for over maybe years...finally accepting that I need to have a hysterectomy which has been suggested for over 10 years...I have very large fibroids size of grapefruits...ive had a friend have a mesh placed and now is experiencing severe problems...I have chosen not to ask a lot of questions about my upcoming surgery as I have 100 percent confidence in my dr...but others are telling me i'm being nieve...i'm scared of being depressed and anxious after my surgery even though I do not have any attachment to my female organs...please help

Your decision is an intelligent one,many people ask so many questions to the doctor, and follow none.
Only thing you are concerned is whether it is total hysterectomy, or normal. If total ovaries are also removed,and and the patient may need Harmon replacement therapy.
But in your case it is for the fibroid s,so you may not need total hysterectomy. Still you can clear your doubt.
Take more of green leafy vegetables,pulses,sprouts,and protein rich foods to have blood,general health and resistance against infections,and to with stand the surgery, and recovery.
