Hi, my wife is 18 weeks pregnant and she is 29 years old. Her Toxoplasma Igm was low positive 1.7 (reference range positive 1.0 IU) when she was at 14th weeks. when we repeated the test again after two weeks we found IgM is 1.4 and IgG is positive 230 (positive more than 1.0). does she need treatment. ? and is there any dangerous for the baby?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Since the IgM levels are same, there is no need to worry. The increase in IgG levels are indicative of an increase in the innate immunity. This does not need any treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
