Is Fractured 5th Metatarsal Turning Purple Colour Normal?
Hi, I fractured the 5th metatarsal on my left foot Sunday. It s bruised but also turns purple at different times, is this normal? I see a orthopedic Dr. next week. I am graduating frm college in May and would like to be able to wear a boot of some sort is it possible?

Hello. Bruising is commonly seen with fractures like this. In general these are just treated with an orthopedic boot.
