I just started 5mg evening amlopidine to supplement my morning lisinopril with htcz. It is the thrid day, and I notice a flushness with one ear turning red a couple of hours after taking it, after eating an evening meal. Could this be an alergic reaction to the 5mg dose?
Although it is highly unlikely that the flushing is due to the amlodipine, but considering the association between your intake and development of symptoms, it may be possible. This is not a known side effect of amlodipine and i would like you to meet your doctor for considering changing your drug. Thanks
