Is Fertigyn Injection And Duphaston Tablets Necessary During Pregnancy?

Hi... I am in my 5th Week pregnancy and the doctor has suggested fertigyn injection once in a week and duphastone tablets twice a day for next 2 weeks.... but i don't know the purpose of it.. Is it really necessary??? i had a bilateral polycyst ovaries and now i have conceived without taking any treatment for cyst issues.... Please advice

Hi,usually patients of polycystic ovaries have progestrone deficiency and an increased risk for miscarriage.To avoid this your doctor has prescribed you tab duphaston 10 mg twice a day and weekly fertigyn inj to maintain progestrone support to suppport the pregnancy.
