Hi,

Lovastatin can cause myalgia; muscle cramps; myopathy; rhabdomyolysis and arthralgias. With your ocular myasthenia gravis, it is better to avoid statin group of drugs to lower cholesterol. Ezetimibe
(ezedoc) seems to be a better alternative. However it may also cause myalgia and arthralgia and used alone, may not be that effective.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
