Is Exercising Safe With Perforated Ear Drum?

i have a perforated eardrum which the doctor says its 70% in size. i just like to know what is the chance of getting heal on its own without surgery. also, i would like to know if can still exercise, but exercising i mean lifting weights and running. the ENT told me i could but i just want to make sure. thanks.

Hi,

A perforated ear drum of this size unlikely to heal its own, and usually needs a flap closure procedure. Exercise you can do, except water sports. Also, better to avoid dip bath.
