Thank you for posting in HMC,
Entamoeba histolytica and entamoeba coli are anism different. e. histolytica is the pathogenic or disease causing organism, however e.coli is normally found in the human gut. E.coli cysts are often confused with E.histolytica cyst during microscopic examination. E.coli cyst of 1-3/hpf is a few parasites which is not disease causing hence not an issue. would like to know if your daughter is symptom free if not get the test done again and consult your physician.
