Is Econorm Recommended For Loose Motion Of A Esophageal Carcinoma Patient?
my father (78yrs) is sufering from esophageal carcinoma.He has been given IGRT(33 sittings) and presently is on geftinib-250,from last two days he developed loss motions.Can we give ECONORM to stop the motions or you would suggest some other medicine ?

dear if patient not allergic to the capsule it can be used for diarrhoea.may be due to radiotherapy he developed diarrhoea.you can be treated symptomatically like tab.imodium twice a day.plenty of liquids and rest. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
