so i had found out in march 2010 that i was pregnant and everything was fine i later found out i had a missed miscarriage and they preformed a dnc on me on april 23 2010. i started my period may 27 and again on june 27... i havent been feeling too well so i took a preg test on july 21 and results neg. i am now 3 days late on my period and wondering if i could be preg. my periods are VERY regular and are ALWAYS on time... so could i be preg?
In fact when you had your menses on 27th of May and 27th of June, there was no reason to perform pregnancy test on 21st of June since you are yet to miss a period. At this stage, even with conception, the pregnancy test will report false negative. If you are suspecting pregnancy due to unprotected sex, you could have performed Beta hCG test on your blood 10 days after the last unprotected intercourse.
Now that you are 3 days overdue for your menses, please wait for 4-5 more days and then perform pregnancy test on the overnight first morning urine sample; earlier the test may report false negative.
I hope this provides you a tool to resolve your dilemma.
