Is Cramping A Sign Of Miscarriage?
Hi I am almost 5 weeks pregnant first time. I am 34yrs old, 5'9'
tall and 130lbs. and in good health. I have had cramps, no bleeding and went to Dr. cause i was scared of the cramping last week.
The cramping has since stopped, and my hcg level was 750 on Wed. He said to repeat on Friday. I did and it was 927.... He said I could miscarry, since he also did an ultrasound and was not sure if
he saw anything. I also have a tilted uterus. I am going back on
Monday for another hcg test. Should I be worried. He also said I
could possibly have a ectopic prego. I have no pain..Please respond. Thank you.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. In a normal intrauterine pregnancy, the blood hCG levels double every48 hours. Low increase in hCG levels are present in ectopic pregnancy or when there is a chance of miscarriage.
These conditions can be diagnosed by ultrasound. I would suggest you to get a repeat transvaginal ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis and get further management accordingly.
