Is amputation the only answer to the wound or revascularisaon can be done ?

Hello sir, my father is diabetic(meningitis type 2) from the last 16 years and recently he formed a wound in his foot his Creatine level is 3.2 and there are hints of ganrene in his foot wat is the possible answer to the wound ? is amputation the only answer or revascularisaon can be done ? waiting for your reply aditya

amputation is the last resort when all the opions are failed than it is considered. regarding revascularizaton it is just not an poption in diabietics with the small arteries a the entire small artery and capillary is afected with the microangiopathy that is causing wound and gangreene in the foot.
