Is A Surgery Effective To Cure Polio Affected Leg?

polio attcked my fiancee in her childhood, due to which one of her leg is smaller and little shorter than the other and he can not walk properly. he is loosing her self confidence. We are considering to go for a surgery to improve her mobility. he is 31 years old.

several corrective surgeries of soft tissues,tendon transfer is done if assessment is made for benefits, muscle tone and power beforehand,otherwise physiotherapy and wearing caliper/brace is necessary
