Is Levothyroxine Sodium Same As Eltroxin Medicne?

Since Eltroxin 50mg tablets are no longer available in uUK Mercury Pharma assure me that they make the EXACT same tablet as Levothyroxine Sodium. Even the coating and binding is the same. What is your opinion? I noyice the Levo tablet is smaller

Eltroxin contains Levothyroxine Sodium. Hence, a particular dose of Levothyroxine Sodium, irrespective of the color/size of the tablet, Brand name or the company producing it, will have EXACTLY the same effect.

So, you need not worry, but go ahead with Levothyroxine Sodium (50microgram) tablets.
