Is Krimson And Pyricintine Recommended In Order To Conceive?

My wife underwent two follicular studies as she was unable to conceive for over two years (her periods are regular). In the first follicular study the follicle size increased from 16mm (day 11) to 34 mm (day 17) but did not rupture ispite of administering HCG injection on 13th day. in the next follicular study the follicle size ranged from 12 mm on the 9th day to 14 mm on 13 th day and reduced to 12mm on 15th day. Now the doctor has asked her to take Krimson 35 and Pyricontin from Day 3 of the next cycle for 21 days. We are worried that it might disturb the cycle which is normal now. kindly advise.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. When ovulation is inhibited due to various causes, apart from correction of the cause, hormone courses are prescribed for a couple of months to inhibit the possible ovum development and to achieve regularity. Once stabilized, ovulation induction can be done. In the current scenario, if ovulation is detected regularly, there is no need for the pills. Pyridoxine can be used as a nutritional supplement. Please discuss with your consultant and plan further management. Take care.

Don't worry. This tablets will not alter her periods.
Actually in my opinion if your wife is over weight than she has to loose her weight by having more of green leafy vegetables, fruits and avoiding junk foods and drinking lot of water.
Secondly do some exercise like brisk walking atleast for 30 min thrice a week.
With all this measures her cycles will regularise and she will have healthy ovum development.
