Irregular Shaped Moles, Same Size, No Signs Other Than Round
Hi. So today my 19-year-old brother stood next to me and I noticed he has an irregular shaped mole on his left shoulder . I asked him if it s always been there and in that shape and he told me yes. However, I didn t know benign moles could ever be irregular shaped? I have a mole in the same position as him but mine is completely round. His mole is pretty much the same size as mine and has no other signs other than it not being completely round.

moles usually appears on different parts of the body with different sizes mostly rounded shaped but it may appear with irregular shape and margins. however moles are mostly benign and do not show aggressive malignant behavior. therefore it the mole on the shoulder of your brother do not extends in size and do not develop any symptoms then its a normal benign mole almost everybody have it.

Hi welcome to HCMForum. a mole if it is present from birth what ever may be the shape and size of the mole no problem.
if it starts in the middle or darkening increasing in size or changing the shape it is to be concerned.
i advise you to consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis. if you feel it should be removed you can approach a laser clinic.
