Irregular Periods, Pelvic Pain, Cramps, Bloating. Advised Taking Birth Control Pills. Cure?

I am a 16 year old girl. I have had irregular periods since I started getting them at age 12. Recently, I have had SEVERE pelvic pain 2 weeks before my period and during my period, such bad cramps that i'm doubled over in pain, bleeding in between my periods, extreme bloating and the list goes on. I have a lot of concerns that I could possibly have something wrong. I landed in the ER 3 nights ago because I was having such severe cramps and pelvic pain. I have been to 2 OB/GYNs so far and nothing has been resolved. I am being told that there most likely is something else wrong, however they refuse to do anything to figure out what it is. They tell me that taking birth control is my only option right now. I am so frustrated, in such pain emotionally and physically from this, I can't even explain. I feel because of my age, they are not taking my symptoms seriously. If you could offer me any advice as to what I should do and if you have any suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since , you mentioned in your query that you have irregular periods.
Pelvic pain during menstruation is a common thing , so need not to worry , have 1-2 tablets of pain killer.
Bloating and pain on stomach may be due to dysmenorrhea ( painful bleeding).
The main concern is irregular bleeding and pain ( abdomen).
In my opinion get in ultrasound of abdomen ( ovaries, uterus, cervix ) and deal accordingly.
Good luck.
