Irregular periods. Trying to conceive. Was suggested letrogel. Is this normal?

Hi my period are irregular and we r trying to conceive for more than year now. My doctor suggested for letrogel on 3 rd day of my periods. I am waiting for my period to come and if it does not come in a week doctor wrote prescription for provera to start periods and then go for ultrasound to check everything is normal.

Irregular periods are often associated with anovulatory cycles. You need to regularize your cycles with the help of hormonal pills like letrogel before planning to conceive.
