Intestinal Pain, Nausea, Cramps, Swelling, Frequent Urination. Bladder Infection?

Hi I have been having sever pain in my intestines for some time. Cramping, nausia, very bad pain.
It is begining to become dibilitating. My tummy is swollen and the pain is very sever at time. I have noticed
when I eat that I have a burning pain in. At the moment I am having to take very strong pain killers to get through
the day. I am also urinating frequently. My doctor has done test for badder infections but is unable to find any.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Do you have acidic belching/ abdominal discomfort/ excessive flatulence/ gargling sound in abdomen/ abdominal bloating after taking meals?
Do you have yellow discoloration of eyes and urine?
With the available described symptoms, there appears to be possibility of peptic ulcer disease or persisting gastroenteritis.
Possibility of urinary tract infection should also be kept in mind.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ gastroenterologist and should go for thorough check up.
You should also go for ultrasound imaging, endoscopy and serum amylase and lipase, thyroid profile, blood sugar level, urine routine and microscopy and serum calcium.
You should also go for urea breathe test for H. Pylori.
If Urea breathe test is found to be positive then you have to take complete eradication therapy for H. Pylori bacteria.
Meanwhile, You should take proton pump inhibitors along with prokinetics for relief of your symptoms.
Avoid oily and spicy food.
Take care,
Dr. Mayank Bhargava
