Infant With Ear Infection And Runny Nose After Swimming. Abdominal Pain. Chances Of Urinary Infection?

Daughter is 22 months, and we went to gatlinburg to an indoor pool. She developed an ear infection and runny nose. Was placed on amoxillin, now is running a temperature of 103.2 and taking children's advil. Has only been 4 hours and temperature has spiked again. Complains and says tumm hurts and pulls at diaper. Could she have a urinary tract infection?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Does she have burning urination?
Is there increased frequency of urination? Is there any urgency to urinate?

These will point to urinary tract infection.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
