I Have Had Problem Like Shortness Of Breath, Please Give Me Your Suggestion

Hi, I am a 25 year old female. For the last months I have had problems with air getting sort of stuck in my throat or upper chest that can only released by belching. The problem is that the belches get sort of stuck - they dont come out and that causes shortness of breath. Some days its worse(the problem is persistent throughout the day and part of the night) Other days there is nothing. It is very uncomfortable and I am not sure if I should see a doctor or is it something normal that can be taken care of with home remedies.

Hi.. Your problems could have just been due to panic disorder and not probably an organic condition.. If your problem is very frequent and is disturbing daily activities, you can consider meeting a doctor...

Hi, thanks for this question.
If you have breathing problem, it needs to be confirmed by your local doctor, if its diagnosed as a breathing problem, he will prescribe you medicines to relieve such episodes. There are very effecrive medicines which can be inhailed once a day to relieve such breathing problems. Please visit your doctor without any apprehension. In the mean while, I will advice you deep breathing exercises, deep air intake and forceful breathing out. If you can do this about 10 times a day, you should be fine.
Best of luck.
