I have been getting this dry crust stuck on my hair , please give me your suggestion
Hi, I am about to get surgery to remove my sebaceous cyst next week. I had it drained before and now it is back. It is on the back of my head about 3.5 cm Tonight I experienced something strange. There is a soft tissue fluid like fingertip size that i notice tonight. i touched it couple times to make sure that i wasn't bleeding and the smell of this fluid kind of stinks. I don't know what to do right now. These days i notice i've been getting this dry crust stuck on my hair and tonight i notice the size of the soft tissue where i can touch . Should i let it dry and let it become dry crust ? Put a bandage over it ? Any suggestions would help greatly. Thank you
Hello.Welcome.What you are getting is discharge from the sebaceous cyst.this cyst has accumulated sweat, known as sebum,in it.this sebum is foul smelling.Just don't worry.Everything would be alright once the surgery is done.Good luck.
