Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Impaired taste can occur in following common condition: side effect of medicines, depression, infection of oral cavity, vitamin deficiency, electrolyte imbalance and hormonal imbalance. Excess salt intake lead to increase thirst to balance sodium level in body fluids.

Following steps will help you:
-First you need to stop excess salt intake which can lead to increase BP.
-Healthy diet with fruits and milk product.
-Lab investigations after examination by general physician to rule out above conditions.

All the best.
