I am 46 and diagnosed with anaemia due to heavy periods my blood indicates an 8% level of eosinophils - should I be concerned ?

Yep of course it does matter with it first of all you should get done your absolute eosinophilic count second routine and microscopic examination of stool is also needed worm infestation is more likely in your case, pl. be in followup's for further advise
